If you have ever been to South Korea and especially to one of the cities there, then you will already be aware of how bustling it is. With the Koreans working so hard, they do not have much spare time. So going shopping for groceries could take up a lot of their spare time and if they had to find their way through traffic, then it could take even longer. Thankfully they can now get their grocery shopping done while they stand around waiting for their train to arrive. This means that they will save a few hours each week. Because time is money, being able to make use of the time they would have spent standing around waiting for the train is something that will appeal to Koreans.
This idea is something that Tesco came up with and it is truly wonderful. While they have not opened up a store in the train station, they have put up posters of their shelves which look very realistic. Now this might seem a bit underwhelming, but I haven’t got to the best bit yet. These posters are not just there for commuters to admire; in fact they serve a much more useful purpose in that the commuter can order from them. The shopper just points their camera at whatever item they want to be delivered. The payment will be made automatically and all the shopping needs can be done in a few minutes waiting for a train. And you will feel like you are walking through a real supermarket because of how realistic the posters are.
This idea to have posters that you can buy things with is simple yet brilliant. Hopefully this isn’t just something that will be only available to Koreans. We all deserve this type of service so maybe these posters will soon appear in subways around the world. It is sure to revolutionise shopping. The simple ideas are always the most effective. And it will mean that we are not as bored while we are waiting for the train.
R4i are items found in lots of things in today’s day and age. An RD card is surely a great example of this. Yet another thing that you may see widely available is the ps3 jailbreak.
